On Friday, June 13th, 2014, our family received alarming news…
Our mother, Georgia Williams – Moxie Magazine’s editor-in-chief – was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. As a result, she has already endured multiple surgeries, tests, and physical therapy sessions. She is also currently undergoing a series of chemotherapy treatments. Her medical expenses are quickly adding up.

Our upcoming event, “Jammin’ for Georgia” is an opportunity for Georgia’s friends to gather and help support her positive mission to beat this cancer.
Funds raised will go directly towards Georgia’s medical bills and expenses related to treatment. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better program – a program designed to help improve the self-esteem and quality of life for women who are undergoing treatment for cancer.
